Most of you know our dear friends Mary and Miracle and Muffin.  Mary is truly one of the angels among us who seems to *find* more animals in need than a veterinary hospital ;)

Mary has a new houseguest that needs a permanent home.  The big orange ball of goodness to the right is Big John (that's what Mary's been calling him at least). More about Big John follows. B133EW04 V.1 REPLACEMENT LAPTOP LCD SCREEN

NOTE: Big John's story may be upsetting to some.  We have put it in invisotext, so simply highlight the box below to read about the unfortunate circumstances that brought BJ to Mary.

we have been hearing a cat cry, not one of mine, for the last week...well when i was home, i did some looking around, they are building out where i live so i was concerned...i found this cat, tied up and in a garbage bag...thrown over the hill on the back part of our property...he was dehydrated and weak but he is doing ok now.....i am guessing about 3 and neutered...he is not a dog fan...his paws are healing up nicely (swollen from lack of circulation and rope burns) snowboarding games

The good news is that Big John has a safe warm place to stay very temporarily while we all help Mary find him a new home.  Big John is in Kentucky currently but I'm sure a transport can be arranged to get him to a loving home just about anywhere!

Mary and her vet are estimating BJ is about 3 years old and he seems to be in great physical condition.  His injuries and dehydration are healing nicely and Big John is a very affectionate boy :)  He does have a fear of dogs so a dog-free household would be ideal.

Here's a little note from "Big John" about his plight and what he's looking for in a new home.

If you can give Big John a permanent home, please contact Mary for more details and to discuss further!
